miss new mexico little miss program

The Miss New Mexico Little Miss program is a non-competitive program for girls ages 3-12. Let your Little Princess experience the world of the Miss America pageant with the Miss New Mexico state contestants. The 2012 Miss NM contestants will be mentoring the princesses and introducing them to the Miss America Family in hopes that they will someday aspire to be Miss America. No competition is required. However, we do have an optional Talent Show for all Little Misses if they choose to participate. One Little Miss is chosen to perform her talent on our stage on Saturday night at the Finals for Miss NM.

Our Little Miss entry fee is $195. This includes: crown sash, t-shirt, matching bow, 3 little miss meals, one chaperone ticket for Thurs and Fri nights shows. And of course the stars of our show will also get a ticket to Thursday and Friday nights events (see schedule below).

6:30 Flying J Chuckwagon Dinner and Show
Families are invited to attend this show with our contestants. You would call to make your own reservations: FREE under 4 years. $15.00 ages 5-12 and $25 for adults. If our Littles come, they should dress "western" style. It is great fun!!!

10:30 REHEARSAL, Little Miss production number
Please provide jean capris, white tennis shoes. We will provide a hairbow, t-shirt to complete their outfit. This will be a rehearsed production number for them by themselves.

AFTERNOON FREE

5:45 REHEARSAL, Spencer Theater
Little's will be provided a snack bag with plenty of food in them. They can eat when it is convenient for them.

7:00 SHOWTIME!
Dressed in their jean capri's and matching t-shirts! After their time on stage, they will join their chaperone in the audience. After the show, we will all congregate at the Sierra Blanca Lodge for visitation with the contestants.

10:00 ACTIVITY WITH BIG MISS
We are hoping a children's movie but if it is not available, we will bowl. Lunch will be at the "Sanctuary" a "living well" eatery. Littles are dismissed for afternoon

7:00 SHOWTIME!
Dressed once again in their capri's and matching t-shirts. After their part in the show, they will receive their snack bag and sit in the audience with their chaperone. visitation will take place again after the competition is over.

10:00 LITTLE MISS TALENT SHOW, Spencer Theater
All parents, grandparents, and family are invited. There will be a nominal charge of $5 to enter and watch. Little Miss and her sponsor are free of charge of course! the Little Misses are free to go after their talent show. There will be a few other events that day that they are certainly welcome to attend. We will be taking our Misses to lunch at Cattle Barons and invite anyone to join this group. They have great food and reasonable prices.

1:30-2:30 AUTOGRAPH SIGNING
The Misses will then be signing autographs in downtown businesses. It fun for the little ones to try to get all of the autographs.

8:00 FINAL SHOW AND CROWNING, Spencer Theater
